La Costa Blanca y el interior de la provincia de Alicante ofrecen una gran variedad de parques temáticos entre los que encontramos parques de atracciones, acuáticos y de animales. Benidorm cuenta con una gran cantidad de ellos, los cuales, dada la cercanía del Hotel Almirante con esta ciudad turística, vamos a destacar.
Los parques temáticos son la excusa perfecta para pasar un tiempo en Benidorm, quizás un día completo, trasladándose desde el Hotel Almirante mediante la línea regional del TRAM, que se encuentra a cinco minutos del hotel. Un fácil acceso hacia cualquier lugar de la costa para disfrutar de los diferentes parques para pasar un día divertido.
De entre todos ellos, como hemos dicho, los de Benidorm son los más llamativos y donde mejor podremos disfrutar de unas vacaciones en familia o en pareja.
Terra Mítica en Benidorm
Si vas a pasar un tiempo en Benidorm no puedes desaprovechar la ocasión de visitar Terra Mítica. El parque de atracciones de Benidorm por excelencia, con su gran cantidad de espectáculos, restaurantes y tiendas y sus tres zonas temáticas. Un parque de atracciones que recrea la civilizaciones egipcias, romanas y griegas en Benidorm haciéndonos sentir como si estuviéramos en otra época disfrutando y aprendiendo a base de pasárnoslo bien con todas sus atracciones.

Aqualandia, el parque acuático por excelencia
Aqualandia es el parque acuático más destacado de Benidorm. Una apuesta segura para tus vacaciones de verano para refrescarse y disfrutar en buena compañía. Aqualandia cuenta con quince atracciones acuáticas y el tobogán más alto de Europa, una manera genial para descargar la adrenalina. Un ejemplo de atracción radical es el Big Bang, un conjunto de cuatro toboganes capaces de transmitirte emocionantes sensaciones de velocidad y caída libre.

Aqua Natura, siéntete en las islas griegas en Benidorm
Aqua Natura Benidorm es otro parque acuático en la Costa Blanca. Este parque cuenta con 40.000 metros cuadrados de extensión y está pensado para que los padres puedan vigilar a los más pequeños sin ningún problema gracias a su gran campo de visión. Aqua Natura también cuenta con un paseo marítimo que nos lleva hasta la playa.
Aqua Natura Benidorm dispone de cinco zonas divididas en piscinas de olas, toboganes, piscinas infantiles, el espigón del faro y el solárium-SPA, para disfrutar del agua de todas las formas posibles en un ambiente basado en las islas griegas.
Terra Natura, una experiencia animal en Benidorm
Si hablamos de parques temáticos de animales, Terra Natura, también en Benidorm, es una gran apuesta para contemplarlos. Terra Natura ha incorporado la llamada “zoo inmersión”, un concepto de parque zoológico para observar y mantener el contacto con los animales. Podrás conocer diferentes animales de América, Europa y Asia a través de propuestas didácticas al aire libre.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and have booked to stay again in September, thank you muchos :)VerificadaSld1107/04/2024A hidden gem We booked this hotel for a last minute get away as the weather was so bad in the UK. A much needed break was needed due to heavy work commitments over the past few months. We booked a premium room - it overlooked the pool / garden area. The room decor and bathroom were of a high standard - plenty of storage, fridge, tea & coffee making facilities, powerful shower and Karl Lagerfeld toiletries. We stayed on a breakfast only basis. The dining room wasn’t your usual chaotic scramble for food but a pleasant, calm experience. The food was of a good standard, all fresh with a good variety. There were tables inside and out on the patio. We mainly opted for outside as it was a welcome change to eat in the sunshine. Beware of the birds as they are quite tame and if food is left they swoop in on your table. The pool area was so chilled and lovely. There is a separate garden area with deckchairs and in the summer months a small pool bar. As it was low season we could always get a sunbed. The pool is not heated but we did brave it and once in it was okay. You can hire pool towels for a ten euro deposit. The hotel is spotlessly clean along with the outside / garden areas being very well kept. The staff are all polite and we found the reception staff really helpful. My husband hired a bike for a few hours for a reasonable price. The area on first glance is full of high rise accommodation- it’s clear that this area is maybe a Spanish second home resort. If you look beyond the ‘high rises’ though the area has a lot to offer. It’s easily accessible from the airport using the C6 bus to Alicante followed by the L3 tram. The tram goes right along the coast as far as Benidorm where you can pick up the train to Altea or Denia. The promenade stretches for miles and miles. We walked to El Campello one way and then to the lighthouse the other way. The beach was very clean and the water very clear. There’s lots of restaurants along the prom or inland in the town area. We visited Alicante (L3) one evening - 20 mins on the tram. We also visited Vila Joyousa - tram to El Campello (L3) then switch to L1 Benidorm. I would recommend this lovely hotel and area. Breakfast is extensive and fresh. The hotel is quiet and understated but absolutely delightful. Practically on the beach front with a beautiful pool area. Tram takes you into Alicante in about 20 mins. We stayed here for two nights at the end of a few days visiting family. I mainly chose it because it was close to the beach and had a car park so it was a very nice surprise to find that we loved it. Built in 1964, it is on a smaller scale than most of the surrounding buildings. It is set in pleasant grounds with a lovely pool, down a drive so it is not close to the road. Our room and bathroom were good, and we had a balcony looking onto the pool and garden. It has mostly been refurbished, and some rooms are still being worked on. The restaurant and bar area are very pleasant and the food is delicious. There are nice sofas and magazines set out in the public area. The service is excellent, and there is a new spa on site, but I did not use it. The buffet breakfast was top class, I was delighted to see my favourite smoked salmon which I had with perfectly cooked scrambled eggs. The only thing this hotel could improve on is to add more power outlets to the bedrooms, there was only one and we had a room with 3 single beds. Great location too, a short walk away from the tram station so a trip to the centre of Alicante was easy (€1.45 each, each way), we could of gone the opposite direction to Benidorm too if we had stayed longer. We didn't make use of the swimming pool but it looked very well looked after as did all the grounds.VerificadaLaurie S30/05/2022Great hotel, clean and quiet Lovely hotel and very clean. We had a corner room so had amazing views of both the pool and the beach. Both the room and the bathroom were a really good size with plenty of storage. This hotel is located in a quiet part of Alicante which suited us during the day. There is a limited bar service by the pool. We would have preferred it if the pool opened at 10am or a bit earlier - 10:30 am seemed quite late. There was a good selection for breakfast. We did eat in the hotel restaurant one evening. The food was tasty but the menu was quite limited and it was more expensive than other restaurants in the centre of Alicante. The mojitos were excellent! We went at the end of May which doesn't seem to be high season, as the restaurants near the hotel / beach weren't open in the evening. It was easy enough to get a tram to the main part of the town, with the tram station only five minutes walk from the hotel and the journey taking less than 15 minutes; this was also cheap. We got taxis back later which cost about 15 euros. Taxis to / from the airport took about 25 minutes and cost about 40 euros. We would definitely go back.
